Description
“What is a Police Officer?” explains the behind-the-scenes aspects of agencies, including the roles of dispatchers and support staff. Join the growing list of agencies using this booklet as a handout for children at events. Written by a police officer and illustrated by a community service officer, it is a great way to teach kids about law enforcement. It’s written to be read aloud, or for learning readers to practice (like firefighters.) The booklet is 4 inches tall by 5.5 inches wide. There are 14 pages of content and a “Police Notebook” activity page. The back cover has a “Brought to you by” section for your agency name and logo, if you so choose, at no extra cost. I will mail you a free sample if you email me at blakecordellauthor@gmail.com.

“Thank you for the booklets and we really like them. We will be having our annual Fourth of July celebration and will be bringing some to give to interested kiddos. This will be a great tool for our School Resource Officer as well. Thank you again!”
“I received a sample copy of your “What is a Police Officer” booklet in the mail earlier this summer. You’ve done a great job with this; I love how it includes the different divisions/roles including dispatch and records.”
